Heather Beardsley's work deals with the aesthetics of data and statistics, whether they are related to American football or geographical renderings. By creating her own languages for visualizing these statistics she allows for their meaning and importance to be reinterpreted.

Heather Beardsley is a visual artist currently living and working in Vienna, Austria after receiving a Fulbright Research Grant. She received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2015, and her BA in History and Art from the University of Virginia in 2009. She has exhibited work in the UK, Austria, Chicago, Baltimore, and Richmond, VA.
