How can you lead a meaningful life inspite of sensory overload, pressure to perform and pretension to perfection? Mirjam Baker expresses her own sentiments in her installation at ASIFAKEIL: "Love Utopy", a romantic animation film, and the film "Aquarium" animated entirely in an aquarium to which a series of painted pictures can be seen as an emotional continuation.
Mirjam Baker studies at the Royal College of Art in London and is currently living in Vienna.
For the opening on June 5th at Raum D / quartier21, she will present both of her films and pictures in person.
