Between installation, sculpture, performance and choreography, the allegorical and brittle works of the artist duo Karner / Samaraweerová occupy the spaces and perception traditions of various disciplines and genres. Their new performance project starts from the encounter with the fine artist Christian Eisenberger, whose works are known for their immediate and direct intervention in performative-societal space.
Starting point of \"grünwachs ein\" is the question of the impossibility and at the same time the indispensability of narration and related processes of objectivisation; the common strategy is the appropriation or the realization of space. Actions and forms are liberated from a chronological-logical process. Time and space is changed so much that a linear connection is no longer primary. A manipulative spatial intervention develops in the interaction of the performers with the objects: materials, roles and objective conditions considered certain are shifted, complemented, weighed out and carried out into the divided, theatrical scope which ultimately seeks a dialogue with the audience.
