In 1984, the Italian author Italo Calvino wrote Six Memos for the Next Millennium. The five essays - Lightness, Quickness, Exactitude, Visibility and Muliplicity - form a poetics that is applicable in all branches of the arts and should also be transferable to society and politics. This text is the thematic basis of the dance production grace note, in which the Phace ensemble works together with a group of internationally renowned artists: the Mexican composer Arturo Fuentes, the Austrian choreographer Chris Haring and Günter Brus, one of the most radical representatives of Viennese Actionism.
