Lecture by Ulrike Haas & discussion, moderated by Nikolaus Müller-Schöll

\r\n

A project on the work of Laurent Chétouane, which the Tanzqurtier Wien has long accompanied, is taking place in cooperation with the Institute of Theatre, Film and Media Studies of the Goethe-University, Frankfurt a. M. In dialogue with Sacré Sacre de Printemps a series of lectures and discussions in Vienna, Essen, Berlin, Hamburg, Marseille, Paris, Brussels a.o. analyses the way of speaking, of the movement sequences and the interaction in Chétouane\'s projects.

\r\n

In the Tanzquartier Wien the question will be the \"other spaces\" of contemporary choreography. The lecture by Ulrike Haß, Topographies of the Strange will concern itself with the duplication of the venues and the unfolding of space in Chétouane\'s choreographies. With a look at the current work, a discussion round, chaired by Nikolaus Müller-Schöll, will examine the scenic thinking of space in contemporary choreographic practice.
