In the solo the choreographer Leja Jurišic and the video and lighting designer Petra Veber dedicate themselves to the moment of revolt, rebellion, of indignation. In a drama without spoken words, the body appears as an agent of action. Using emotion, physicality and expression as (stage) material, the Slovenian dancer advances into extreme conditions in which the moment of failure is immanent: a moment that exposes the limitations of any kind of truth, authority and regulation.

Ballet of Revolt is a performance that explores the role of art as an answer to suppressed and recurring elements of our individual and collective history; an artistic challenge to take every crisis as an occasion for ever new reflection about the future.
