The energetic rhythm spectacle from Korea.
COOKIN´ NANTA means speed and humour.
COOKIN´ NANTA has been one of the most popular shows in Korea ever since it premiered in 1997, drawing the largest number of spectators in Korean stage history. Having staged in theatres all over the world and received the Musical award for best performance in 1999, COOKIN´ NANTA made it all the way to New York and had become the first Asian show to open its own off-Broadway theatre!
COOKIN´ NANTA is a comic musical, a non-verbal performance and an energetic spectacle for all ages. The kitchen is its backdrop, chefs its main characters. Knives and other kitchen utensils are transformed into musical instruments in the hands of the performers. The audience will be thrilled by acrobatic cooking scenes, jonglages, an exciting dumpling challenge, drum dances, reckless rhythms and dramatizing customary Korean percussion.
