Choreography as spatial art: what if the body were to enter our recognitionand orientation-based perception? If our kinaesthetic, acoustic, visual impressions, impulses and experiences interconnect and reconstitute space anew?
Lumen - Raum sehen [Lumen - Seeing Space] is part of a series of performative installations in which the set designer Stefanie Wilhelm examines the parameters and conditions of our perception and radically changes them. In cooperation with Charlotta Ruth and Luke Baio, a choreography of light, movement and darkness develops in which lines and surfaces link with one another dynamically, where we are confronted with illusion and deception, and in which our perception develops anew, sensorily and conceptually.
