The performance sketch Untitled Stills takes up some aspects of the current research process of the choreographer An Kaler in the framework of the project Insignificant Others, in which she deals with the imagery of movement material. Based on the idea of the still in video and photography, the figure of the ‘still\' is explored in the context of movement: what is an almost-still, which allows a vibration between fixed classifiable positions? And how can a thinking, a conception and practice of the in-between spaces develop - between visibility and presence, between imagery and readability?
