Three video works, Bridge Visitor (Legend-Trip), (2004), Documentary of Day is Done Judson Church Horse Dance (2010), and Documentary of a Performance with Paul McCarthy and Nakahara Masaya (2010) by Mike Kelley will be shown for the first time in the context of the exhibition Push and Pull. They were created in the context and inspired by the dark, yet bizarre presentations of the monumental video installation Day Is Done (2005-2006), which is based on yearbook photographs of extracurricular activities in American high schools from the 1960s and 70s. These are linked to experimental performances by the Judson Dance Group and other artists Kelley has collaborated and performed with in the past. On the 26th of October there will be a marathon screening of Day Is Done (Extracurricular Activity Projective Reconstruction #2-# 32), (2005-2006).
