Can we still meet? Do we really still want to (get to) know one another? Is our voluntary togetherness still voluntary enough? Or are we already trapped in our daily routine? Do we feel we are victims of our own past? A mass of thoughts, stories, movements, coincidental touchings, outbreaks of anger and at the last minute - the music.
In their first joint performance Milli Bitterli and Frans Poelstra play with the ideas and images of a fictional world on the margins of innocence, cruelty and naivety.
As a married couple with children they are certainly aware that real life is always closer than one would like. But as they are both \"stage animals\" with a lack of civilisation they constantly find their way to burst their preconceived ideas of what is (im)possible on stage.

Note: owing to the long unclear residency situation of the New Zealand dancer Anna MacRae during the rehearsal process, the performance of währenddessen . . . Ein Duett has developed into the form now presented.
