In Sweet Dreams Are Made the choreographers Simone Aughterlony and Isabelle Schad define the stage as a space of possibility: simultaneously a receptacle of dreams and the setting of a dream, in the theatre space imagination, visions and lived experiences interpenetrate each other and collapse into each other in alternating perspectival locations. What, however, happens to the images - to their bodies, stories, feelings and emotions - if they are observed through the lens of sleep and with the semi-logic of the dream phenomena? Sweet Dreams are Made invites the spectator into the theatre in order to be lonely together. In order to get involved in an adventure in which you catch yourself as the observer of a dream trying to create the reality and surroundings linked to it yourself.

The guest performance takes place in the framework of the Rochade: Schweiz programme focus, which since the 2009/10 season has been analysing contemporary dance and performance creation in Switzerland.
