Copyright, open source and authorship: who does dance belong to? And what role does it play - between market value and symbolic economics - in present-day society? The starting point of Fake it! are contemporary dance productions that - whether because of economic, technical or production-related circumstances or because of the personal intervention of the author - have never been seen in Slovenia, and perhaps never will be. In analogy to the copies found on the black market, Janez Jansa and the dancer-choreographers involved launch forgeries of some of the great masters of the second half of the 20th century, such as Pina Bausch, Trisha Brown, Tatsumi Hijikata, Steve Paxton or William Forsythe, onto the dance market.
