Ein Poetry Slam ist ein Wettlesen um die Gunst des Publikums. Bei diesem dürfen ausschließlich Leute unter 20 Jahren gegeneinander antreten – ein in der internationalen Szene übliches Format,
das in Österreich noch nicht etabliert ist.

Wer nicht selbst lesen oder performen möchte, ist als ZuhörerIn herzlich willkommen
und entscheidet vielleicht als JurorIn mit, wer als GewinnerIn am Ende des Finales feststeht! Poetry ist vom Publikum fürs Publikum und mit dem Publikum! Moderiert wird der Slam von Yasmine Hafedh, eine der jüngsten Slammerinnen Österreichs, und dem Musiker Peter Jeidler (Hörspielcrew, B Seiten Sound).
