Around the Ball
A hands-on exhibition for children ages 6 to 12

Did you know that the ball already has a 4000-year-old history, and is a true wonder of physics? At Around the Ball you can find out about the origins of football, why the round leather ball can take a curve, and that being hit by a ball moving at 130 kilometers per hour from a distance of 10 meters is like colliding with a 200 kilogram cow. You also can find out how many liters of sweat are lost by referees, forwards, and goalies during a 90-minute game and how many kilometers they run. From Ronaldo to Beckham: try out the hairstyles of some famous footballers. At our special version of table soccer, you can test your reaction time and agility. And it’s guaranteed painless to head our non-bursting bubbles: come and explore your football talents!
