Wir warten einen großen Teil unseres Lebens (allerdings nicht auf den Bus).

Bushaltestellen dienen nicht nur als Haltestelle und Witterungsschutz, sondern auch als sozialer Treffpunkt, als Informationsstelle, als Anschlagtafel und Plakatwand. Sie sind Postamt, Kaffeehaus, Litfasssäule und Schlafplatz in einem. Als öffentliches Möbel sind sie Identifikation stiftendes Element in der Landschaft, wobei jede Haltestelle ihre eigene Geschichte erzählt. In der Ausstellung soll die architektonische, landschaftliche und vor allem soziale Bedeutung gezeigt werden. Durch verschiedene Herangehensweisen (Foto, Film, Interviews, Zeichnungen) und mit Hilfe von Postkarten, Tourist Maps und Spielkarten werden aus anonymen Alltagsarchitekturen Kunstobjekte, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Touristenattraktionen.
