The artist Timm Ulrichs (born 1940 in Berlin) lives and works in Hanover, Münster and Berlin. He studied architecture at the Technical University in Hanover.
In 1961 he founded the "Werbezentrale für Totalkunst & Banalismus" with "Zimmer-Galerie & Zimmer-Theater" (self-exhibition as "First Living Work of Art") and in 1969 an "Kunstpraxis" ("Consultation Hours by Appointment").
From 1969 to 1970 Ulrichs held a guest professorship at the State University of Fine Arts in Braunschweig.
From 1972 to 2005 he held a professorship at the Kunstakademie Münster.

Project info

During his residency at the MQ, Timm Ulrichs will work together with Ursula Neugebauer on an installation in the TONSPUR_display in the MQ showrooms.
