Renea Begolli (b. 1998 in Prishtina, Kosovo) is a young artist and researcher who deals mainly with issues such as body image, privacy and gender perspective. She is actively involved in the contemporary art scene, attending courses at Stacion - Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina and collaborating in the research team of the project "Metamorphosis II: Flirting with Leftovers" of Shtatëmbëdhjetë Foundation or in the project "Boom 80's Arts and Action Research" of Changing the Story project.

Project info

Together with Anyla Kabashi, who will also work for Kunsthalle Wien in September and October 2023, Renea Begolli is a scholarship holder of the Capacity Building Program for Cultural Managers from Kosovo initiated by BMKOES.
The "Cultural Work Trainee Program Kosovo-Austria 2023" was initiated and financed by the Austrian Ministry of Culture BMKOES.
Since July, 6 cultural workers will have the opportunity to work in 6 selected institutions/projects for the year 2023.

Renea Begolli has been selected for a two-month internship with the Vienna team of the Kyiv Biennial, where she will have the opportunity to work directly on this art event, which partly takes place in Vienna.
