Free admission

In recent years, the MQ Summer Stage in the Main Courtyard has become a summer staple in Vienna. From late May through late September, the diverse open-air evening program complements the museums’ offerings and invites visitors to enjoy concerts, performances, talks, readings, and film screenings—all with free admission.

The popular “O-Töne” literature festival and the “frame[o]ut” open-air film festival are also back on the program this year. The new “MQ Tunes” concert series brings fresh sounds to the MuseumsQuartier every Wednesday—featuring young, up-and-coming bands from Austria.
