For the fourth year running, MQ Pride Night returns to the open-air stage at MuseumsQuartier Wien. As part of MQ’s Summer Stage program, what began as a one-night event has grown into a recurring format within Vienna’s summer cultural calendar, bringing together artists and audiences to engage with queer joy, pride, and resistance.

In 2026, MQ Pride Night expands beyond Pride Month into a series of four evenings across the summer, each with a distinct focus while remaining grounded in performance, music, and collective presence.

The series opens on 12 June at 19:00 with the annual Pride edition, setting the tone with a program that moves between music, performance, and club culture. On 17 July, "Choreographies of Resistance" shifts the focus toward dance, bringing together choreographic approaches and embodied practices, before opening the dance floor to the audience. The 7 August edition, "Acts of Presence, Performed", centers on queer performance art, presenting a series of solo works that culminate in a shared discussion. The series concludes with "Queer Poetics" on 4 September, an evening dedicated to queer poetry, spoken word, and literary practices.

Across all four dates, MQ Pride Night continues to unfold as a platform for exchange, visibility, and artistic experimentation, creating space for different forms of expression while fostering connection between performers and audiences.

The program is curated and hosted by Daniel Hill, a Vienna-based artist, photographer and curator.
