MQ Forecourt

As part of the ImPulsTanz Festival, Public Moves offers free outdoor dance and movement classes every day on the MQ forecourt (main courtyard) of the MuseumsQuartier. These classes, which are also suitable for beginners, are led by various international instructors who teach styles ranging from hip-hop to contemporary jazz.

Public Moves invites participants to a holistic Rückenglück training: with simple, gentle yet highly effective body exercises, it supports a healthy back and a tangible sense of well-being. It offers the ideal balance to the one-sided physical and mental strains of our time – sitting, lack of movement and stress. In this free training without equipment, many muscle groups are activated, strengthened, mobilised and relaxed at the same time. This also promotes the complex interaction of the musculoskeletal system – the body’s intelligence.
