MQ Forecourt

As part of the ImPulsTanz Festival, Public Moves offers free outdoor dance and movement classes every day on the MQ forecourt (main courtyard) of the MuseumsQuartier. These classes, which are also suitable for beginners, are led by various international instructors who teach styles ranging from hip-hop to contemporary jazz.

Public Moves invites you to experience Afro Fusion as a dynamic blend of traditional and modern African-inspired movements. Rooted in the African diaspora and the infectious beats of Afrobeats music, this style is enjoying growing popularity worldwide. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or just taking your first steps on the dance floor, this class offers an immersive experience right into the heart of Afro dance. We’ll groove, move, and vibe to timeless and popular songs from modern Afrobeats music.
