MQ Forecourt

As part of the ImPulsTanz Festival, Public Moves offers free outdoor dance and movement classes every day on the MQ forecourt (main courtyard) of the MuseumsQuartier. These classes, which are also suitable for beginners, are led by various international instructors who teach styles ranging from hip-hop to contemporary jazz.

Under the open sky, Public Moves becomes a stage for flamenco as an expression of freedom. Originally from the streets of Andalusia, flamenco unfolds a special energy when performed outdoors. For this occasion, we will learn a few simple flamenco steps to beautiful new flamenco R’n’B music and improvise with the rhythm: clapping, stamping and celebrating together.
