A Tour Through the History of the MuseumsQuartier Vienna
Every Thursday of the month, a guided tour of the “Vision and Resistance” exhibition takes place at MQ Freiraum.
How did the former imperial stables complex become one of Europe’s largest arts and culture districts? The exhibition ‘Vision and Resistance’ looks back at the eventful history of the MuseumQuartier Wien’s development – at architectural designs, political decisions, public debates and the conflicts that continue to shape the site to this day.
During the guided tour, visitors will gain insights into key themes and exhibits in the exhibition and learn more about a project that has brought lasting change to Vienna.
