The MuseumsQuartier’s MQ Artists-in-Residence (AiR) program offers approximately 60 international artists each year the opportunity to live and work at the MuseumsQuartier, further develop their artistic projects and get to know the local art and culture scene. The goal of the MQ Artists-in-Residence program is to continuously invigorate the local art and culture scene with external and new impulses and to promote exchange by involving international artists.

With its eight studio apartments available year-round, it is not only the most important AiR program in Vienna’s city center but also one of the largest AiR programs in all of Austria.
