Project Info

Stairs — as a way of overcoming. A staircase leads to the temple, reminding us of the ascent to Golgotha. The staircase in the movie “The Truman Show“ leads the hero outside into the real world. My staircase invites you to experience the artist's path, full of thorns, external circumstances that cannot be influenced, overcoming her тraumas, doubts, and mental instability.

The installation is suspended in the air, like the questions I ask myself: What's left of my past doubts? through what traumas do I communicate with others? is it possible to overcome them?

The staircase will be made of colored fabrics on a metal mesh frame. Textiles indicate intimacy and closeness to each of us (we are always dressed). The path of self—awareness and creativity cannot be simple, so I add breakdowns to my object - some stairs are partially destroyed and overgrown with prickly crystals.
