Dezember 2022 - Dezember 2022Gamze is a Berlin-based visual artist and painter, she was born and grew up in Istanbul, Turkey. Graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Art University in 2010. Her work mainly deals with the theme of female forms, dreams, landscape and nature. Characterised by a colourful palette, cosmic signs, female power and journey stories. Gamze’s work ranges from Mural painting and studio practice for galleries and projects across Europe.

During the residency program I am planning to create a new series that conntects all that I feel and experience in 2020. I moved to Berlin in the beginning of the year. While the world was transforming to new shapes and the way of living was changing, I was setting up my new studio, home and new dreams. The series that I want to create would be connecting all my drawings, color studies, paintings from 2020.
