The object of my research is the role of a spectator as a subject and an object of the art work and the effort he/she puts in the perception, understanding / non understanding and the following interpretation of the piece of art.
More precisely, I will focus on the so called „short aesthetic moment“defined for the viewer in a gallery and the perception of the motion picture and possibilities of spectator's identification with it. I would also like to take a closer look at Lacan´s theory of the subject development and the notion of „the mirror stage“, transferred in the environment of the spectator and cinema.
