House rules of the MQ Libelle

Dear visitors!

Welcome to the MuseumsQuartier! We appreciate your interest in the public terrace of the MQ Libelle on the roof of the Leopold Museum. To ensure that you enjoy your visit and to guarantee your own safety and that of other visitors to the MQ and the artworks, certain rules must be observed. We would like to expressly draw your attention to the house rules for the public terrace below, which you expressly acknowledge by passing through the entrance area:

General information

You are on private property. These house rules apply from the ground-level entrance area at courtyard level after passing through the turnstile and on the public terrace on the roof of the Leopold Museum.

Within the scope of these house rules, visitors must behave in such a way that no other person is harmed, endangered, obstructed, harassed, or threatened.

It is expressly pointed out that, in addition to these house rules, the general house rules for access to and use of the MuseumsQuartier premises, in their current version, also apply and are expressly acknowledged upon passing through a passageway.

access

Access to the public terrace is via an access system using a turnstile and then a passenger elevator. The public terrace has a maximum capacity. In order to comply with the relevant official regulations, MQ E+B GesmbH expressly reserves the right to restrict access to the public terrace, particularly if the maximum capacity is exceeded, and to close or clear the terrace completely if necessary.

Access to and exit from the public terrace is only permitted via the designated entrances and exits. Emergency doors and stairways may only be opened or used in emergencies. Misuse of emergency doors will be strictly punished.

Operation and operating hours

The public terrace is open daily from Monday to Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The operation of the public terrace is dependent on weather conditions. In the event of extreme weather conditions, such as snow and ice formation, hail, or storms, as well as in the event of important internal requirements such as maintenance, repair, servicing, or other work, MQ E+B GesmbH expressly reserves the right to restrict access to the public terrace for as long as absolutely necessary, to close it completely if necessary, or to clear it if necessary.

Visitors

Parents or adult guardians are solely responsible for supervising children and young people and are accountable for the behavior of minors. Children under the age of 14 are only permitted to use the passenger elevator and public terrace when accompanied by an adult guardian.

In the event of violations of these house rules, the security service and persons authorized by the property management are entitled to issue bans on entering the premises on behalf of the property management. If damage is caused by actions prohibited by these house rules or by other culpable acts of damage, MQ E+B GesmbH expressly reserves the right to report this to the authorities and to claim damages from the perpetrators within the framework of the statutory provisions.

final provision

These house rules come into effect on the day the public terrace opens. MQ E+B GesmbH may amend these house rules at any time without giving further reasons.
