Free admission

Every Wednesday from 18:30, live concerts take place in the main courtyard as part of “Winter at the MQ.” On 2 December, the band soulparlez will be providing some musical highlights.

soulparlez – four FLINTA* voices who have been performing with intensity and heart for the past five years – are now louder than ever. What began as a delicate a cappella ensemble has evolved with their second album “All We Need” into a powerful five-piece art pop band. Electric guitar, bass, synths, and drums push the sound of soulparlez into new, unstoppable dimensions.

Their music is both rage and tenderness – a cry against silence, a declaration of self-empowerment. soulparlez sing about feminist empowerment, the beauty of resistance, and the courage to be loud, take up space, and dare to create something new. Four voices intertwine to form a collective statement – raw, honest, and fearless. With their electrifying live performances, soulparlez have already made their mark at festivals across Germany, f.e. Kontakt Festival in Bamberg or Bierchen & Bühnchen Festival in Nuremberg, as well as on renowned stages in Austria, including the legendary jazz club Porgy & Bess and the annual open-air concerts at Vienna’s Kultursommer.

Drawing inspiration from jazz, alternative pop, and French chanson, soulparlez create a sound that is constantly reinventing itself – unpredictable, vulnerable, and loud. Five women who refuse to stay silent.

Four dancers in black outfits perform synchronized choreography against turquoise backlighting. The scene feels mysterious and dynamic.
