MQ Forecourt

As part of the ImPulsTanz Festival, Public Moves offers free outdoor dance and movement classes every day on the MQ forecourt (main courtyard) of the MuseumsQuartier. These classes, which are also suitable for beginners, are led by various international instructors who teach styles ranging from hip-hop to contemporary jazz.

With Vivos, Public Moves puts house dance in the spotlight as a space for well-being, freedom of expression and connection. Dance has many forms, but regardless of style, Vivos is interested in creating more freedom of expression. Personally, Vivos has found a sense of liberation, playfulness and letting go in house dance – and this is exactly what Vivos wants to share through this dance style. It is about connection, listening and allowing oneself to be guided by intuition. In Vivos’ classes, participants explore concepts and learn basic steps, history and the cultural relevance of house dance.
