As part of the ImPulsTanz Festival, Public Moves offers free outdoor dance and movement classes every day on the MQ forecourt (main courtyard) of the MuseumsQuartier. These classes, which are also suitable for beginners, are led by various international instructors who teach styles ranging from hip-hop to contemporary jazz.
Public Moves traces the musical and dance development from disco to house. Embedded in Afro-diasporic artistic practices, this forms the framework and foundation of the class. The focus is on connecting with the music while celebrating both collectivity and individuality.
