MQ Forecourt

As part of the ImPulsTanz Festival, Public Moves offers free outdoor dance and movement classes every day on the MQ forecourt (main courtyard) of the MuseumsQuartier. These classes, which are also suitable for beginners, are led by various international instructors who teach styles ranging from hip-hop to contemporary jazz.

Public Moves focuses on key aspects of release technique: verticality and gravity, the head-neck connection as a movement impulse, awareness of alignment and the relationship to the floor. Above all, the aim is to move with as little effort as possible. This is certainly one of the specialities of the immensely likeable Rosas dancer and co-director of the choreographic centre La Faktoria in Pamplona.

Special

All Public Moves participants receive free admission to the MQ anniversary exhibition “Vision and Resistance” at MQ Freiraum through August 7. Simply show your Public Moves registration at the ticket counter at MQ Freiraum.
