Public Moves introduces Pantsula as a vibrant dance style that emerged during apartheid in the 1950s and 1960s in the townships of Johannesburg. Known for its technical complexity and high energy, Pantsula is often described as a “duck walk” and embodies a dynamic culture that encompasses fashion, music and social expression.
