MQ Forecourt

As part of the ImPulsTanz Festival, Public Moves offers free outdoor dance and movement classes every day on the MQ forecourt (main courtyard) of the MuseumsQuartier. These classes, which are also suitable for beginners, are led by various international instructors who teach styles ranging from hip-hop to contemporary jazz.

At Public Moves, this class begins with a short meditation on the floor to help us settle in. Then, in pairs, we move from the familiar to the unexpected—from everyday gestures to something that becomes dance. A class about the distance or closeness between two people. Music, laughter. No prior experience is required. Everyone is welcome: all levels, all bodies.

Special

All Public Moves participants receive free admission to the MQ anniversary exhibition “Vision and Resistance” at MQ Freiraum through August 7. Simply show your Public Moves registration at the ticket counter at MQ Freiraum.
MQ Freiraum opening hours: Tue. – Sun., 10:00 to 18:00.
