The 15-minute guided tour offers insights into the eventful history of the Museum Quartier’s development and shows how visions, debates, and resistance continue to shape the MQ to this day.

25 Years of MQ: The exhibition “Vision and Resistance” recounts the initial challenges involved in creating the world-renowned MuseumsQuartier Wien arts and culture complex and traces its success story—from the Hofmarstall and the Messepalast to its status as a contemporary cultural hotspot.

Tickets are available in advance and on the day of the event at MQ Point and MQ Freiraum. A single ticket grants access to all participating museums and cultural institutions during the ORF Long Night of Museums.
