MQ Summer Stage

DuoLia plays indie folk with original songs and outspoken lyrics. Two voices that harmonize and complement each other, always framed by the warm sound of the guitar and violin.

Like a hug you didn’t know you desperately needed: that’s how DuoLia.’s debut album “In The Morning Light“ feels after the first listen. While warm guitars create a world of cotton candy with a sky full of violins, on a lyrical level, longings and insecurities emerge like shadows beneath the clouds. The artists find words for the silent, empathy for sensitivity, and try to make sense of the emotional chaos of growing up.

DuoLia. consists of Alia Wüschner and Julia Jackel; their music blends friendly harmonies with raw, unfiltered lyrics that invite you to open your eyes—but even more often to close them, so you can feel what there is to feel.
