On July 30, Sossego joins us at the kiosk for a special listening session curated by O MATO.
Named after the Brazilian concept of “sossego“—a state of calm and ease—the project creates space for slowing down, connecting and listening together beyond the usual party setting.
For this special edition, the collective will also bring their own sound system, creating an intimate listening experience designed around warmth, presence and community.
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Lydia, brings a rich musical background shaped by house, disco, reggae, soul and Latin music. Having played renowned Brazilian festivals including Rock the Mountain, Coala Festival and Universo Paralello, her sets are warm, rhythmic and deeply rooted in Brazil’s vibrant musical culture.
Joining her is Kax.Mahl, a passionate collector with roots in Berlin, Vienna and Mannheim. His selections move through dub, kraut, wave and other overlooked corners of music, always tied together by a strong sense of groove and a knack for uncovering forgotten treasures.
