Movements through sea foam. Nursery rhymes. (Holy) Water and Daughters of the Dust explore questions of time and narrative traditions in a critical examination of colonial power structures. Water becomes a central motif in this context: as a fluid/flexible mass, as a weapon, as both a separation and a connection, as geography, as a diasporic symbol, and as a time horizon shaped by history.
