Free admission

On Lottery Day, Friday 11 September 2026, you can take part in a short guided tour of the anniversary exhibition ‘Vision and Resistance’ free of charge from 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm. Tickets are available from the MQ Point on presentation of an Austrian Lotteries product.

How did the former imperial stables become one of Europe’s largest art and culture complexes? As part of Lottery Day at the MQ, join this guided tour in Austrian Sign Language to discover a vibrant and cosmopolitan space for art and culture right in the heart of the city.

The exhibition ‘Vision and Resistance’ looks back at the eventful history of the MuseumQuartier Vienna’s development – at architectural designs, political decisions, public debates and the conflicts that continue to shape the site to this day.
