Karina Mendreczky and Katalin Kortmann Járay are two artists who have been collaborating on a regular basis for the past couple of years, creating remarkable and unusual works together.

Oasis is a subtly composed, expansive installation featuring numerous different sculptures, photographs, printed textiles, drawings, and sound elements. Taken as a whole, the objects form a mystical, fairytale-like constellation, a sort of Cabinet of Curiosities, one that resounds with ideas and concepts of life and death, and which addresses individual and collective attachments to nature.
