Hiba is a Sudanese singer-songwriter based in Cairo. Empowering women in the music industry is central to her work: she co-founded the first all-female band in Khartoum (Salute Yal Bannot, “Respect to the Girls”), with whom she also competed on Arabs Got Talent. Through the project The Elgizouli Sisters, she and her sisters combine art, music production, and fashion design. Her music videos Rival (2019) and Bindaya (2020) have won awards at various film festivals; in 2025, she collaborated with OSKA at the Austrian Cultural Forum in Cairo and arranged two songs.

With a deep passion for songwriting, Hiba draws inspiration from the rich diversity of Sudanese rhythms and weaves them together with modern influences in her compositions. Her fascination with traditional sounds and storytelling continues to shape her unique musical voice. Her music is based on two elements: pentatonic melodies and Sudanese rhythms. Alongside her ever-evolving artistry, her love for live performance continues to grow — every concert is an intense and captivating experience.

The single "Moya W Nar" ("Water and Fire"), released in February, addresses societal double standards and prejudice against women. Hiba is currently preparing to release her debut album and working on new music — inspired by her surroundings and shaped by her passion for live performances and artistic diversity. Her work reaches audiences in Sudan, Egypt, the UAE, Lebanon, and France.
