From party hats to festive crowns!

The MQ is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and it’s a celebration to remember. Whether you’re wearing a flashy top hat or a sparkling party crown—at our craft station, you can use a variety of materials, from fabric to paper, along with ribbons and string, to create fun hats and festive crowns. Whether you’re following along with our ideas or coming up with your own, give it a try! Weave, tear, staple, fold—anything your imagination, felt, foil, beads, and paper can handle is fair game. Grandma, Dad, and Auntie are, of course, warmly invited to join in the crafting—after all, everyone has a birthday sometime. Come on by and be part of the colorful party crew!

• Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Materials and tools will be provided. However, you are welcome to bring your own fabric scraps, wool, beads, or similar items.
