Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella

“Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella – The Musical” will bring the magic of the cult classic film – complete with its famous original score – live to the stage of Hall E at the MQ in the winter of 2027. An emotional, thrilling experience for the whole family.

The contents:

After her father’s death, Cinderella lives with her strict stepmother, who – unlike her sister Dora – makes her work as a maid. Nevertheless, she dreams of freedom and adventure. One day, when her path leads her into the snow-covered forest, she meets the prince - a snowball, a laugh, a glance. When the prince invites her to the ball, her stepmother refuses to let her go. Thanks to three magical hazelnuts, Cinderella manages to secretly attend the royal ball. During the dance, the prince has eyes only for her, but when the clock strikes midnight, Cinderella loses a shoe on the stairs. A moment that will change her fate forever.

The Music:

Cult classic meets musical magic. Karel Svoboda’s iconic theme song, which has enchanted audiences for generations, is combined here with new compositions by Thomas Zaufke (“The Wonderful Adventures of Nils Holgersson,” “Grimm!” and winner of the German Musical Theater Award) to create a musical experience full of nostalgia and emotion.
