Young music theatre and dance ensembles in the spotlight: For a whole week, the stages at NEST and DSCHUNGEL WIEN will be taken over by young music theatre and dance ensembles from all over Austria.

From 22 to 26 June, NEST and DSCHUNGEL WIEN are hosting the first „WILD & SCHÖN FESTIVAL“. The festival presents extraordinary dance and music theatre productions by young people aged between 14 and 24 from all over Austria. It is a place where young theatre makers can showcase their themes, working methods and artistic positions and engage in dialogue with one another. The focus is on the invited productions and the interaction between the artists.

CATWALK FOR FUTURE

Originally, the term „catwalk“ referred to narrow walkways or bridges on building sites and in shipyards. At dizzying heights, workers moved along these paths unsecured and carrying heavy loads. Who is endangered by the fashion catwalks we know today? Under what circumstances are the clothes on our bodies created? And what happens to them once we’ve discarded them? What journeys have our trainers undertaken, and where will they go? What would a T-shirt tell us if it could speak?
