THE MAGIC DOOR

A play with music

A child stands with a questioning and astonished facial expression in front of a blue door. The door has eyes, a nose, and the mail slot serves as a mouth.

Mila had actually just gone up to the attic to fetch a new string for her kite. But there she comes across a rather strange door. Not only can it talk, but it also has a special secret: every time you open it, something new appears on the other side. It can lead to a room, but also to a forest, a fairground, another planet, the desert or the water.

Unfortunately, the door cannot decide for itself where it leads or which people and creatures appear on the other side. That is why it has been banished to the attic. But Mila understands. Because she, too, sometimes has emotional outbursts that come out of nowhere and which she cannot always control. And so a shared adventure begins.
