Bats

“Bets” is a play for young audiences ages 4 and up. The social lives and sounds of real bats meet Johann Strauss’s “Die Fledermaus” and its music. What does that sound like together? The musicians, dancers, and performers explore echolocation, ultrasound, and operettas; perceive new frequencies; dance as if flying; rest upside down; and teach each other how to play the violin live on stage.
