Daria Arbuzova (b. 2001, Moscow) is an artist, curator, and co-founder of the madame gallery. She graduated from the HSE Art and Design School (2019–2023) and is an alumna of the 10th season of Winzavod’s Open Studios programme (2023–2024). Her work has been presented in exhibitions at GES-2 House of Culture (Formulas of Eternity, 2026), Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art (Tube Flow, 2025; We Dreamed This Tomorrow, 2024), GROUND Solyanka (Worlds That Apparently Never Existed, 2024), and Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) (Telling Stories: Big Data, 2023), as well as at contemporary art fairs.

In her practice, Daria explores the merging of the real and the virtual. She examines how social relationships and individual consciousness transform alongside technological development. Drawing on internet communities and digital aesthetics, she works with glass, plastic, 3D printing, neural networks, and collage to trace emerging forms of sensuality in online spaces.

Project info

This exhibition concept is about the kitchen turns into a garden city: anidealized myth that doesn't survive contact with reality. Drawing on the legacy of the Frankfurt Kitchen, the artist ironically dissects patriarchal images of femininity, uncovering their latent potential for absurdity and bodily materiality. The project continues Arbuzova's exploration of the contradictory entanglements of the real and the digital — this time through the most mythologized of all domestic images.
