The re:pair Festival Vienna is celebrating its fifth anniversary!

The fifth re:pair Festival will take place from October 2 to 18, 2026, at the MuseumsQuartier Wien (MQ Room D). The anniversary festival will feature over 90 events, live restoration demonstrations, expert lectures, and creative workshops focused on repair, upcycling, and climate protection.
To help fund this year’s festival and celebrate its 5th anniversary, there’s a raffle with five upcycled leather jackets as prizes – each one truly one-of-a-kind. At the opening on October 2 at 18:30, the Kördölör choir will host a SING-ALONG, meaning all guests are warmly invited to sing along. Since the festival’s first edition took place at the Museum of Folk Life and Folk Art in 2022, the number of participants has been steadily rising, and last year over 5,500 people attended the re:pair Festival Vienna. More and more people are discovering repair as an analog hobby – whether it’s clothing, electronic devices, or musical instruments.
