As part of the ImPulsTanz Festival, Public Moves offers free outdoor dance and movement classes every day on the MQ forecourt (main courtyard) of the MuseumsQuartier. These classes, which are also suitable for beginners, are led by various international instructors who teach styles ranging from hip-hop to contemporary jazz.
Preparing for the Apocalypse (or Releasing the Dance Demons)
Public Moves invites participants to break with familiar movement tendencies and habits through ecstatic breathwork and extreme physical states, wresting a new dance from the flesh. The aim is to let go of inhibitions, allow ugliness and celebrate one’s strengths. It is time to wake up the flesh and get freaky!
